Saddle Chat - Off Season 4 Episode 3

RWC and NRL continue to be strong themes in this weeks pod. The heartbreak of the Wahs loss to the Broncs, Wallabies go down to a jubilant Wales and a strong Springboks side loss to tournament co favourites Ireland.

 

Euge comes back with a quiz, to test the RWC knowledge. Ez is still away with the Schools teams so there is a continued lack of leadership in the crew. Hack does his best to lead us through.

Saddle Chat - Off Season 4 Episode 2

This pod has it all. 

Hack leads us into the plethora of sport we have been privileged to witness lately, namely The Wahs baby!! We chat about the state of rugby in NZ, results of the World Cup coming out of France and even delve into a bit of politics closer to home which makes for some grim listening. We celebrate some of those who picked up awards at Prize Giving over the weekend and glance over a couple of Fridge's Gear Grinders.

Missing some sensibility from Ez and Euge - Hope tries her best to control the other two.

With NRL Finals here, RWC, NPC and NPC all around we've decoded to come back and start the Off Season Saddle Chat Poddy for ya. Review & Preview is the game this episode. We're minus Flaxmere Mayor Hope Hakopa as she comes off a brilliant FPC season, she should return next week. Hack takes charge as the panel including Huge Euge, Big Daddy Ez and Fridgey give there take on our favourite sports at the moment.

Saddle Chat Season 4 Episode 6

We back again albeit a bit late. Quick review on this weekends Hardham Cup final vs MSP. A lot of food chat. We dissect the ABs good start to their World Cup prep and Euge and Fridge confirm it's the Warriors year. Ez gives us a DC story and Hack gives his feedback on a local chicken burgers. The Brotherhood, Colts and 85's are still active and we look at their chances for the rest of the season.

The Ponies heartbreak..We delve into the awesome season the Ponies have had this year. The positives, the gains and good work they have had this season. Your weekly revoew of all teams Petone and the team offer up their expert feedback around the All Blacks and All Blacks XV selection.

Captain Hope Hakopa, Player Manager Elieta Taito, Stalwart Vet Soraya Umaga Jensen and blockbusting hooker / utility Alicia Print joins Hack & Fridge on the pod. Great to hear from these Ponies on the big victory over Oriental Rongotai on the weekend. We also preview the massive final vs Marist Saint Pats this weekend up at NZCIS and get their thoughts on Women's Rugby in general.

Saddle Chat Season 4 Episode 4

One on one - Hack and Fridge do a quick recap of the weekend. Some big results in for the Ponies who are off to the ship and the Prems winning McBain. 85's get up and roll on. The Prem Reserves sneak by Hutt who are traditionally strong, the Brotherhood have a huge win over OBU while the colts just miss out on the chocolates.

The team are back for another week and we highlight the Ponies big win on Saturday over Norths, talk about their great celebrations Saturday night and discuss Lavinia's Blazer presso.

Hope, Ez, Euge and Fridge preview McBain Shield,  huge week for the club and have all your usual dodgy moments. Fridge loses it at the state of Petone Rec and Ez and Euge bring a real class around their rugby reviews.

Besides McBain Hope takes us through a  preview of how the Ponies are tracking heading into a must win game to make the Tia Paasi final.
